DLF Foundation wins the CSR Award

Gurgaon based DLF Foundation won the internationally acclaimed ‘Golden Peacock Award 2015’ at the 10th International Conference of Corporate social Responsibility in Mumbai. Its efforts in the field of education, skill development,  healthcare and sanitation were recognized.

The award was given away by Pankaja Gopinath Munde, Minister of Rural Development, women and child welfare, Government of Maharashtra. Lt. General J.S.Ahluwalia, PVSM(retd.) is the president of the ‘ Institute of Directors’ and of the ‘World Environment Foundation’(WEF) was also present at the occasion along with other dignitaries.

Receiving the award, Lt. General Rajendra Singh,CEO of DLF Foundation said that  it was a great honour to receive this award. They have been working to empower communities and create opportunities for the underprivileged people in the areas of health,education,skill development and sanitation.

DLF Foundation has various flagship programs under the categories like skill development, village cluster development, nurturing talent programme and swacch Haryana programme. Golden Peacock awards, initiated by the Institute of Directors, India in 1991 are now regarded as a benchmark of Corporate Excellence.de

Bhagwati was the chairman emeritus of Golden Peacock Awards and Justice Arijit Pasayat, former judge, Supreme Court of India and former Chairman of Competition Appellate Tribunal And Authority for Advance Ruling( Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax) is the Chairman of the Golden Peacock Awards. Golden Peacock awards Secretariat receives around 1000 entries per year for various awards from over 25 countries across the world.
